What is a ceramic coatingCeramic coating is semi-permanent and applied to the exterior of your vehicle to protect against external paint damage like UV fading, road chemicals, dirt, and water. It is a superficial paint treatment that’s applied in liquid form, but cures to form a hard layer over your vehicle’s paint. It’s typically composed of silicon dioxide (SiO2), which is often sourced from natural materials, including quartz and sand. When the chemicals bond with your car’s paint, they create a hydrophobic (water-repelling) effect. Thus, making maintaining your vehicles excellence easier.
-
Is a ceramic coating meant for me?Ceramic coatings are great ways to maintain your vehicles appearance. However, they are not "maintenance free" as some might think. They require the time for 1-2 regular touchless or hand washes a month to keep dirt and grime from building up. If you love the monthly subscription tunnel brush washes then this might not be for you. The tunnel washes are going to scratch your paint and wear down the coating from the abrasion of the brushes spinning. Money is also a factor as well. Coatings can be anywhere from $500- $2,000+ depending on the level of protection and any paint correction that is performed.
-
What is a paint correction?Paint correction is a process of leveling your vehicles clear coat to enhance the way that light reflects. Thus, giving is a more reflective and deep shine.

Is detailing worth the money?Regular auto detailing contributes to enhancing the resale value of a car, although factors like mileage, mechanical condition, and accident history can influence its overall worth. Moreover, car detailing offers psychological benefits by fostering a sense of pride in ownership. By incorporating professional auto detailing services, vehicle owners can maintain a clean and shiny appearance, ultimately boosting the perceived value of their vehicle.
-
How long should it take to detail a car?The duration of a car detailing session can vary based on the size and condition of the vehicle, typically ranging from 30 minutes to a full day. The time required for auto detailing depends on factors such as the car's size and overall condition, ensuring thoroughness and attention to detail.

Should I get my car detailed or do it myself? While you may believe that performing DIY car detailing saves money, opting for professional services actually proves more economical in the long term. When detailing your car yourself, you incur expenses for purchasing brushes and products for every section of your vehicle, which can accumulate over time. By choosing professional auto detailing, you can achieve cost savings while enjoying expert care for your vehicle.
